Our STory
Namaka Farms is a multi-generational beef-cattle and grain operation, with locations in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. Previously part of Thiessen Farms Ltd, the Namaka Farms Inc. was established by Ed Thiessen and his eldest son, Stuart, in 2000. We have deep roots in Alberta's history - our land having ties to Calgary Stampede Co-founder, George Lane, Canadian Forces officer, Major-General Thomas Bland Strange, as well as a handful of Canada's first pioneering farmers.
